Michelle Nolley

Michelle’s experience includes being a track runner and swimmer, as well as a coach for track, cross-country, and swimming at the club, middle school, and high school levels. She was previously involved in Youth USA Track and Field (USATF) in both Illinois and Indiana. She successfully grew Indiana’s Youth USATF association participation from around 100 athletes per meet to nearly 700 per meet.  Michelle was an integral part of the organization’s sponsorships, national meet bids and administrative duties.

Michelle has experience in complete event planning and operations. She has organized meets from the local dual level to National qualifying meets and beyond. Michelle has coordinated all facets of meets including: marketing, sponsorships, volunteers, officials, athlete registration, meet-day operations, timing, results, and post-event duties. She has also worked alongside many individuals and clubs in their efforts to raise funds for travel expenses and growth.

Gary Nolley

Gary has coached track and cross-country at the club, middle school, and high school levels over the years. Gary was a runner through high school and at Butler University. Having now had two daughters swim he has also developed his skills in working extensively with swim meets.  He works alongside Michelle as a critical member of the Alpha Timing Team focusing his strengths on equipment, on-site meet worker training, on-site timing and course development.  He is fully trained to handle all aspects of entry, meet/event organization, timing and results.

Matt Nolley

Matt started running when he was just 6 years old.  As time went by, Matt became more involved in the timing and results side of the sport. Matt is also an IHSAA and USA Track & Field certified official in Track & Field and Cross Country.  Matt is proficient in the timing and entry/results programs that Alpha Timing uses.  Matt also serves as Alpha Timing’s IT specialist and legal counsel.

Ashley Nolley

Ashley has been involved in Cross-Country, Track & Field and Swimming since 2001. As a four-year high school varsity athlete in each of these sports and a member of the Alpha Timing team since 2008, Ashley knows the ins and outs of each sport.  She is currently attending Indiana University-Bloomington where she is the manager for the Men’s and Women’s Cross-Country and Track and Field teams.  Ashley is proficient in Hytek and leads the Hytek system for all of Indiana University’s home meets.

Tom Derrico

Tom ran track for four years at Christopher Columbus High School in Miami, Florida as both a sprinter and a high jumper and for one year at Franklin College.  Tom then began coaching track at Aurora Junior High (now South Dearborn) and moved to Edinburgh in 1978.  At Edinburgh, Tom coached middle school track and as an assistant and then as varsity boys coach until 2003.  Tom has also coached both middle school and varsity cross country at Edinburgh.  Tom has worked with Alpha Timing since 2011.

 

Mike Robards

Mike graduated from Center Grove in 1970 and the US Air Force Academy in 1974.  After retiring from active duty in 1997, he taught science at Custer Baker/Franklin Community Middle school for 16 years where he coached cross country and girls track.  Mike has been working with Alpha Timing since 2009.

Fred Eaton

Fred has spent much of his life around the pool.  He has been a lifeguard and a water safety instructor.  He has also taught swimming lessons, swam competitively and served as a swimming official.  Fred has worked with Alpha Timing since 2010.
